Fatima Mohammed capatulted to national infamy after delivering the commencement address at CUNY (City University of New York) Law school. The speech was a shocking screed against Israel, America and CUNY, as well as support for terrorism.
The address, which CUNY’s chancellor and board of trustees later called “hate speech,” accused Israel of being a murderous “project of settler colonialism…[that] indiscriminately rain(ing) bullets and bombs on [Palestinian] worshippers” and “imprisons its children.”
Mohammed described CUNY (minus the law school) “an institution that continues to fail us, that continues to train and cooperate with the fascist NYPD, the military, that continues to train IDF soldiers to carry out that same violence globally.”
Mohammed referred to the largest terror funders in the U.S. who were convicted in the Holy Land Foundation case as “Palestinian political prisoners” and exhorted her classmates to remember them.
After the Oct. 7 attack, in which Hamas slaughtered 1,200 Israeli men, women and children, and kidnapped 240 others, Mohammed justified the massacre, tweeting, “glory to the [Hamas] martyrs, each and every single one of them. glory to them.”
After participating in numerous disruptive protests in NYC, on January 1, 2024, Mohammed tweeted: “expect us everywhere, at any time, at any day, during holidays and busy seasons- in the streets, airports, and stations. until we get justice this city will not rest.”
